The 20-pin/40-pin connector is the front connector for S7-300 and 300V modules. It connects the on-site actuators and sensor signals to the module, and the CPU can detect the on-site signals. When replacing a module, remove the front connector without rewiring. Screw-type terminal blocks with cable clamp, release button, coding element socket, and two coding elements on the module, the top shield is permanently inserted into the front connector when inserted for the first time. Avoid module type errors by coding when replacing modules.
